The Guerlain Gloss d’Enfer Maxi Shine Lip Gloss in 900 Star Dust has a beauty that is unfortunately incredibly hard to capture on camera. It is a sheer gloss full of fine iridescent white shimmer that flashes aqua blue. It is not as dramatic an effect as depicted in the promotional image below but it is more more noticeable than my photos depict.
I am in love with this gloss. This is my first experience with the Guerlain Gloss d’Enfer formula. It is an exquisite formula. It has a light cushy feel and no stickiness. I must say I am so impressed with the quality of lip gloss releases lately. So many incredible formulas to love! The shade 900 Star Dust gives a magical effect to the lips whether worn on bare lips or as a transforming lipstick topper. I thought it might be kind of boring worn alone but it is actually really lovely and I have been wearing it that way quite a bit.
I really wish I could have captured the beautiful icy tones of blue and aqua in my swatches better but you will have to take my word on how beautiful it is.
There is also a matching shade of La Laque Couleur nail polish that I imagine must be fabulous.
