I have been a long time user and devotee of eyeshadow primers. An under eye primer is something new for me. I often try and use some of my eyeshadow primer along my lower lash line to take advantage of the better colour payoff and longevity of my shadows and liners in that area. Is having a separate primer for the under eye area an extra step I want to add to my routine? Well after testing out the glo minerals Under Eye Primer ($24) for a couple of weeks now I think I may just be willing to add those few extra seconds to my makeup ritual. The glo minerals Under Eye Primer is an anti-aging Under Eye Primer that claims it minimizes the appearance of imperfections by filling in fine lines while using light-reflective pigments to soften the appearance of wrinkles and dark circles. It has worked great to prime my under eye area before applying concealer. The fine lines under my eyes are less noticeable and it keeps my concealer from settling into them. It also increases the lasting power of my concealer, liner, and eyeshadows under my eyes and keeps said products from smudging or moving around.

I just love the feel and finish of my skin after applying the glo minerals Under Eye Primer. So much so that I have been playing with applying it to other areas of my face including softening the look of the fine lines around my mouth.
Oh and did I mention that the effects of this product go beyond a simple optical illusion?
- Silicone Polymers and Organic Form Fillers fill in fine lines while light-diffusing pigments soften the appearance of wrinkles and dark circles.
- Grant-X “The Super Peptide,” has been clinically shown to improve the appearance of wrinkles via nerve synapse interaction.
- The GABA (Gamma Amino Butyric Acid) in Grant-X is a known neurotransmitter inhibitor that helps improve the appearance of aging and softens expression lines.
The following pics don’t really do it justice. The difference that my naked eye sees isn’t as visible to the camera apparently. Hopefully you can see it. 😉
You can find their authorized dealers on glo minerals website.
Sorry for all the weird spacing in this post. It is not there when I go to edit and I can’t figure out what’s going on!
