I thought I’d pull out the Chanel Summer 2011 collection Les 4 Ombres quad Lilium out and give it a second chance. I’d only wore it once when I first received and reviewed the summer collection here.
I do like the shades in this palette but I just don’t find they do much for me. The green is gorgeous but I do have a lot of Chanel quads with blackened greens as well as the gorgeous Le Metier de Beaute Kaleidoscope. The taupe shade is pretty but I seem to be the black sheep when it comes to taupe. They just don’t seem to work for me? I don’t know what the problem is. I think I may end up parting with this quad. I guess we’ll see.
Chanel Vitalumiere Aqua BR10
Make Up For Ever HD Concealer 305
Laura Merier Secret Brightening powder
Illamasqua Tremble whichwasn’t the pop of pink I wanted so I topped with:
Chanel Joues Contraste Pink Explosion
LORAC Perfectly Lit Luminizing Powder in Luminous
Chanel Lilium quad
Giorgio Armani Eye to Kill mascara black
Anastasia Brow Powder Duo in Strawburn
Chanel Rouge Allure in Joyeuse (Asia Exclusive)
I love Chanel shadows because the last very well for me. I also love using the darkest shade in the quad wet to line. Here is how my eyes looked after 12 hours. My brows have wore off a lot (I think I was rubbing them a bit) but my eyeshadow still looks almost exactly the same as it did when I left the house 12 hours earlier.
