This creates the illusion of a fuller more youthful lips.
The new LANEIGE Two Tone Lipstick ($35 CAD) makes this trend both easy and fun to achieve. The custom oblique cut lipsticks give a crease-free and precise application that almost blends itself. You get the perfect gradation in well thought out colour combinations that feature a glossy formula for the inner shade and a semi-matte shade for the border colour. The creamy formula has a sorbet texture that gives rich colour with very moisturizing wear.
The packaging is utterly unique. I’ve never seen a lip product like this. The rectangular shaped lipstick bullets feature a slide-up mechanism to wind up the product. The angle of the two-tone shade within makes achieving the K-Beauty ombre look effortless. To apply you ensure you have the lipstick oriented so that the darker colour is being applied on the inner edge of the lips and the lighter shade on the outer edge. Gently close the lips together to blend and blur the two tones together.
There are 8 shades available. Some offer more subtle tone on tone looks while others create more dramatic effects with outer edge colours like white in shade No. 4 Milk Blurring and bright yellow in the she shade No. 11 Juicy Pop.
