Too Faced is back with more peachy goodness. The Too Faced Peaches and Cream Collection brings us a variety of new deliciously scented products that perform as good as they smell.
First off let’s talk about the packaging. It is so fabulous. There is this perfect balance of cute and luxe. I love the gold combined with the more sophisticated peach artwork. It is a very different presentation than the original Peach products in their metal palettes with raised, more cartoon inspired imagery.
Too Faced Just Peachy Velvet Matte Eyeshadow Palette ($45 US) This palette of 12 shades smells divine. I am really happy with the shade selection. Too Faced does a really great job of including a range of light base shades, medium toned crease shades, and deep contrast shades in their palettes and this palette is no exception. I love that I don’t have to reach for another palette as there are more than enough colours, and a great enough range of depth, to create a multitude of looks. Shades like Peach Punch and Peach Sangria give this a little more punch and interest than your typical neutral eyeshadow palette.
The shadows have great pigmentation, blend well, and work really well together. I’m a happy camper.
Too Faced Peach Blur Translucent Smoothing Finishing Powder ($30 US) When I first opened this beautiful compact I thought it was a blush. It’s a pale peach powder with a very subtle sheen. When I realized it was meant to be used all over the face I was nervous. I thought for sure it would impart too much colour on my fair skin but I was worried for nothing. This powder is indeed translucent and it give skin a gorgeous soft sheen and subtle warmth that makes skin look healthy and radiant. It even looked nice under my eyes. I really like setting my foundation with this powder as it compliments my dry skin well. I’m not sure how much oil or shine control someone with an oilier skin type would get out of this powder but I am loving the blurring effect.
Too Faced Sweetie Pie Radiant Matte Bronzer ($30 US) I swear I can’t help but giggle every time I see something labeled as radiant matte. What is that? This bronzer comes with a gold shimmer overspray which is easily removed to reveal the true soft sheen finish of the product. I love the peach pie inspired latticework of this powder that brings together a peachy champagne and hue with medium and deep bands of bronzing shades with hints of peach colour poking through. Swirled together with a brush the resulting shade is a very flattering bronzer with a subtle “almost” matte sheen that looks skin like and healthy. No shimmer.
Too Faced Primed & Peachy Cooling Matte Skin Perfecting Primer ($32 US) I almost didn’t even give this primer a chance but I am so happy I did. Usually I wouldn’t attempt a matte primer with my dry skin. I’m all about hydration and radiance when it comes to primers. I usually avoid blurring primers because I’m not a fan of the silicone pore and line filling texture. I don’t find it cooperates well with my foundations and skin. After using and loving the Primed & Peachy Primer I looked up the ingredients and low and behold the second ingredient is glycerin NOT silicone. Silicones don’t appear until much further down the ingredient list. I have really been enjoying how this primer blurs imperfections and improves the longevity of my foundations. It’s a keeper for sure!
To round things up I want to say I am really impressed with this collection. To the point I actually started looking up other reviews because I wanted to make sure I wasn’t missing something “wrong”. Weird I know! I somehow felt I needed to justify my love for the collection. Now that I’ve done that I’m dying to try the Peach Perfect Foundation because it sounds heavenly. Let me know if you’ve tried it!

I seem to get minis only these days. They are so cute. Even better — I’ve managed to finish two! (Not two of the Mariah Carey Liquid Sands, but two other OPI minis.)
