Too Faced has a new concealer being released on June 15th, 2016 and man oh man, is this concealer GOOD! The Too Faced Born This Way Concealer ($28 US/$39 CAD) is a naturally radiant formula that conceals dark circles and imperfections who boosting radiance and hydration.
I have been having an absolutely horrible time the last 6 months or more with concealers. The fine lines and small wrinkles around my eyes have seemed to really go into high gear this past year. I have always been proud of my lack of wrinkles for my age but lately my age seems to have really caught up with me. 🙁 Concealers that I used to love I now fine make my eyes look dry, crepey, and just plain old. After my love of the Born This Way foundation I had high hopes for this concealer and I am excited to announce that this concealer has beyond exceeded my expectations. Not only does this manage to conceal and brighten my undereye area without accentuating my fine lines, wrinkles, and dryness, it actually manages to smooth out my undereye area and makes it look younger and better.
The concealer, like the foundation, is infused with skincare benefits, including Coconut Water, Alpine Rose, and Hyaluronic Acid.
There are 10 shades available:
- Very Fair – pale with pink undertones
- Fair – light with pink undertones
- Light – light with golden undertones
- Light Medium – medium with peach undertones
- Medium – tan with golden undertones
- Medium Tan – tan with pink undertones
- Tan – tan with golden undertones
- Deep Tan – deep tan with golden undertones
- Dark – with golden undertones
- Deep – with pink undertones
The shade I have is the lightest one, Very Fair. Compared to the lightest shades in NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer, Urban Decay Naked Concealer, and MAKE UP FOR Ever HD Concealer it is not as light. I find the lightest shades in those concealers to actually be a little too light for me and accentuate dryness. The Too Faced shade Very Fair is an outstanding match for me. It is described as having pink undertones but I find it quite neutral. I will let you know that I saw the Light Medium shade and it is quite orange/peachy.
