Continuing with our Dior Cosmopolite Fall 2015 coverage we take a look at the Dior Vernis ($31 CAD) for Fall 2015.
The collection includes five shades:
- 001 Miroir – mirror shine silver
- 701 Métropolis – khaki grey
- 785 Cosmopolite – dusky rosewood
- 791 Darling Blue – metallic shimmer blue
- 982 Black Out – (not shown)
Cosmopolite will be added to the permanent lineup. The remaining four shades are limited edition.
I love these shades for fall. Métropolis is such a sophisticated and unique shade. Is it grey? Is it khaki? Who cares, it’s fabulous! Cosmopolite is probably my favourite in the collection. It is a rosewood burgundy with a dusky quality that I adore. Darling Blue is of course a standout with it’s vibrant rich blue hue and light catching shimmer. Miroir does highlight nail imperfections with it’s chrome finish but it is amazingly pigmented. Opaque in one stroke. This makes it perfect for nail art purposes!
The wide, tapered Dior Vernis brush is one of my all time favourite nail polish brushes so I know these shades will be go to’s this season.
