Oh Dior. You always manage to make my heart skip a beat with your colour collections. The Dior Trianon Spring 2014 Collection brings us three new permanent shades of Dior Vernis ($26 CAD/$24 US):
204 Porcelain – baby blue cream
457 Bouquet – peach coral cream
777 Bloom – fuchsia cream
There is also a limited edition Dior Shimmering Matte Effect Top Coat in 187 Perlé ($26 CAD/$25 US) being released with the spring collection.
My favourite shade from Trianon Spring 2014 is Porcelaine. Such a stunning porcelain blue cream that is opaque in 2 coats and has a beautiful glossy finish.
Bouquet has a stunning glossy finish and still has a small amount of transparency with 2 coats yet applies evenly so it looks lovely worn this way or you could build to 3 coats for full opacity. All swatches shown are with 2 coats.
Bloom is a deep fuchsia with a very glossy finish. Perfect coverage in 2 coats.
The limited edition Shimmering Matte Effect Top Coat in Perlé is very, very cool. It transforms your polish into a matte finish and has super fine opalescent pink and blue shimmer so your nails are left looking as if they were kissed by frost. I thought I wouldn’t care for the matte effect but the opposition of matte with the opalescent shimmer is stunning. This photo shows one coat on top of Porcelain. This pic does not do it justice so I will try to capture some better ones for you and update.
The Dior Trianon Spring 2014 Collection nail products will be available at Sephora and Dior counters on January 15th, 2014.
