The Dior Flash Luminizer Radiance Booster Pen ($52 CAD/$40 US) is available in a range of regular shades as well as two pearly shades. The “regular” shades, as I’ve decided to call them, are meant to apply under or over foundation to lightly conceal, while offering a subtle brightening effect by diffusing light in a similar vein to the YSL Touch Eclat. They also are promoted as filling in lines and wrinkles. The shades I have are too dark for me to properly test out but I would love to hear your thoughts if you’ve tried these. The formula feels lovely.

The two pearly shades are 500 Pearly Vanilla and 800 Pearly Pink. I have both and I am loving them. They have the most stunning ultra fine shimmer. I don’t usually use cream/liquid highlighting products but I have been loving the effect these give when I apply these over foundation and then blend with my damp beauty blender that stills has a bit of foundation on it. It gives the most amazing lit from within glow. I can then go in and go over areas that I want an even more intense highlight with a powder highlighter. They have a very lightweight and easy to blend texture that works really well with foundation.

Are you thinking of trying these? Are you a fan of pens like these? These were great because it didn’t take 1,000 clicks to get the product to start coming out!
