I was lucky enough to be one of two winners of a crapload of bronzers from BeautyCrazed.ca. The first one I chose to dug into was the Diorskin Nude Tan Healthy Glow Enhancing Powder in 004 Sunset. Ya, I know. Not my colour. But hey it was too pretty not to play with and I can use it in my pro kit. Won’t my clients feel special when I pull this baby out?
I was really surprised by the size of the box and then I saw “with Kabuki Brush”.
The palette and kabuki brush in their individual black velvet pouches.
The compact is a shiny silver quilted beauty. Look at that cute baby kabuki! You can’t see it very well in the picture but it has a shiny silver handle and CD embossed on the end.
I was very tempted to get the lighter, more pink toned, release from this collection 002 Sunlight. The quality of this bronzer has me seriously considering going out and tracking one down. I was trying to behave and resisting getting it and thought I was safely distracted by fall releases. Darn!
Such a beautiful pattern! Anyone else find it odd that the product in the centre between all the letters is different than the rest of the palette and doesn’t carry through the corner shades?
The powder is very soft and not at all powdery. I didn’t have any kick up at all. It the most subtle shimmer that gives you a very natural glow. They are barely detectible in these photos. It’s a nice, soft step up from matte.
The swatch above blended out with the included kabuki brush.
So yeah, too dark for me. But the fact this doesn’t look completely ridiculous on me is a credit to how lovely this bronzer is.
You should still be able to find the Dior Diorskin Nude Tan Healthy Glow Enhancing Powder at a counter near you. They still had them on display at the Sears I was at a couple of weeks ago. It is still available online at Sephora, Neiman Marcus, and The Bay as well.
