The Dior Summer 2016 Milky Dots Collection brings us a new Dior Addict lip formula. The Dior Addict Milky Tint ($43 CAD) is a “nourishing lip fluid” with a wet shine effect. These are basically nonsticky glosses with pastel shades and glossy shine. They have packaging and an applicator similar to the Dior Addict Fluid Sticks. I love the shape of these doe foot applicators. They really hug the contour of the lips beautifully.
There are four shades in the collection:
- 156 Milky Pastel
- 286 Milky Plum
- 356 Milky Peach
- 376 Milky Pop
The shades I have are Milky Plum and Milky Pop. Milky Plum is a lovely pastel lilac shade. Milky Pop is a gorgeous “pop” of bright coral with a unique sort of subdued quality to it that makes it fit into the milky tint theme. I am in love with both of these. They give such a stunning effect on the lips. Glossy and romantic yet modern.
The Dior Addict Lip Maximizers ($41 CAD) are a pain free lip volumizer. Unlike the hot, burning sensation some lip plumpers give, the Dior Lip Maximizers give a refreshing cooling tingle with a vanilla mint flavor. They contain a blend of collagen and marine-based fillers that smooth and moisturize lips. With continued use your lips will look noticeably fuller and more defined. I always have one in my handbag. For summer there is a new sheer shade 006 Beige Sunrise. It gives a hint of nude beige to the lips with subtle shimmer.
