Great news. Dermablend is now available at NailPolishCanada.com! I have been interested in trying out a fuller coverage foundation for some time now and this was the perfect opportunity.
Medium coverage for minor to moderate skin flaws including redness, rosacea, uneven skin tone, and minor acne scars. Twice the coverage of a classic foundation for up to 12 hours of wear. A soft touch to skin, Smooth Indulgence Foundation evens complexion and won’t enhance fine lines or surface imperfections.
Dermablend Professional Smooth Indulgence Foundation in Nude Beige Heavy Swatch
I received the lightest shade available, Nude Beige. Considering Beige is in the name you can already tell it isn’t going to be the fairest of foundation shades. I would say it is pretty close to a MAC NW15. That being said it is a bit too dark for me but somehow managed to work out pretty well for me in a finished look. This foundation is supposed to be a medium coverage foundation but it also promotes itself as providing twice the coverage as an ordinary foundation. I would say this is definitely a medium to full coverage foundation. It doesn’t over complete full coverage, I would look to their Cover Creme foundation for that, but it is certainly more coverage than a standard medium coverage foundation. I found it gave my skin a really flawless, even look yet at the same time managed to let enough of my imperfections show through that I didn’t look like a mannequin. It did accentuate dry patches on my face but considering the level of coverage offered I was pretty happy with how it looked over dry, and more wrinkled, area of my face. It is more coverage than I am typically comfortable with as you can certainly tell I am wearing foundation but for a fuller coverage look I’m pretty pleased with the effect. It gives a natural satin finish and wore the entire day for me without any fading, caking, or separating.
