OPI has partnered with the Coca-Cola Company to release this collection of nine shades representing some of Coca-Cola’s most recognized brands. There is everything from classic red for Coca-Cola to metallic silver for Diet Coke, dark red and black for Coke Zero, black cherry for Cherry Coke, cream and warm pink for Vanilla Coke, shimmering citrus green for Sprite and glitter-packed orange and deep purple for Fanta Orange and Fanta Grape. I have 7 of the 9 available shades to share with you today.
Today I Accomplished Zero (inspired by Coke Zero) Dramatic black with effervescent red sparkle is a total must-do. – One of my favourites in the collection. I love the effect of the red glitter in a sheer black base.
Get Cherried Away (inspired by Cherry Coke) Seriously, this black cherry is over-the-top gorgeous! – I don’t know if I would classify this as black cherry, it is a bit too light, but it is a beautiful cherry plum with an impeccable cream formula that is almost a one coater.
A Grape Affair (inspired by Fanta Grape) Make a big to-do in this deepest, darkest purple. – Another impeccable, almost one coater cream. A beautiful deep purple.
My Signature is “DC” (inspired by Diet Coke) My initial impression? This shimmery silver is just “write!” – This sparkling metallic silver is gorgeous. Formula and application were effortless and it’s a real attention getter.
Green on the Runway (inspired by Sprite) This uncut-lime green makes a real fashion statement. – Not what I would call a lime green but this metallic green duochrome is beautiful. It does have the sheerer formula a lot of duochromes seem to have but it was completely opaque in two coats. The duochrome effect is not too pronounced on the nail but it does make this already fabulous green even more interesting and beautiful.
Orange You Fantastic! (inspired by Fanta Orange) Glitter to the max in this juicy orange explosion! This orange, gold, yellow, and silver glitter in a sheer orange base is a fun, bright, glitter polish that has nice even glitter coverage in only two coats. I don’t know if I can fall in love with the tones of this polish but it is very well executed if you love these colours and very unique.
You’re So Vain-illa (inspired by Vanilla Coke) I bet you think this creamy nude is all about you. – This is a really lovely nude. The perfect shade of glossy vanilla cream in a fantastic formula that is opaque and even in two coats.
The other two available shades are:
Coca-Cola Red (inspired by Coca-Cola) Classic red – always in style, always perfect.
Sorry I’m Fizzy Today (inspired by Vanilla Coke) Do Not Disturb…I’m enjoying this creamy, smooth pink.
