After how impressed I was with the Clinique Black Honey Affair Eyeshadow Palette I was really excited to see the news that Clinique was releasing the Wear Everywhere Neutrals Collection. The collection includes five All About Shadow 8-pan eyeshadow palettes in different nude colour families. The five available palettes are:
- Wear Everywhere Nudes
- Wear Everywhere Pinks
- Wear Everywhere Greens
- Wear Everywhere Blues
- Wear Everywhere Greys
The eyeshadow palette I have to share with you today is the Clinique Wear Everywhere Greys All About Shadow 8-Pan Palette ($36 US/$40 CAD). I will admit that when I first laid eyes upon this palette I thought “boring”. Well after wearing the palette I can tell you it is anything but. The range of shades in this palette gives you so many possibilities. I have never been that attracted to grey eyeshadows, even though they flatter my colouring. They just seem so blah. The looks I have created with Wear Everywhere Greys have been not only flattering, but truly beautiful. There are greys in this palette with hints of mauve, taupe, brown, and of course true greys. The pigmentation ranges between the shades from average to excellent. All perform and blend beautifully and impressed me with 8 hour wear even without a primer.
The palette is a super slim, sleek chrome with secure snap closure. It includes a dual ended sponge tip applicator.
The eight shades in the palette range from matte to super shimmer finishes. There are a mix of existing Clinique shades along with some new limited edition ones exclusive to the palette.
- Light shade from Seashell Pink/Fawn Satin Duo (matte)
- High Tea (matte) New LE shade
- Mushroom (super shimmer) New LE shade
- Grey Matters (matte) New LE shade
- 1A Sugar Cane (soft shimmer)
- 21 Silver Lining (super shimmer)
- Stormy (soft shimmer) New LE shade
- AE Stroke of Midnight (matte)
The Clinique Wear Everywhere Greys is a surprise new love for me. One of my favourite things about being a beauty blogger is having the opportunity to fall in love with products and colours I may never have taken a second look at, let alone a chance with. Have you tried any of the new Clinique Wear Everywhere palettes?
