Clinique has released a limited edition 16 Shades of Beige Collection featuring the Clinique All About Shadow 8 Shade Palette in Neutral Territory 2 ($40 CAD/$36 US) and 8 shades of Clinique A Different Nail Enamel for Sensitive Skin ($16 CAD/$12.50 US) in flattering neutral shades of beige to flatter any complexion.
This palette has a range of neutral shades that goes from pure white, ivory, and cream shades all the way to rich deep warm brown and expresso. While neutral this palette is a more warm leaning neutral palette. The shadows all share the same creamy texture, rich pigmentation, and finishes that range between satin and a refined shimmer. The inclusion of one or two mattes would have made this palette a little more exceptional in my opinion. Overall I think this is an excellent neutral palette that is a little less intimidating shade wise and shimmer/glitter wise for those looking for more of a truly natural look. The formula of these shadows is wonderful and very easy to work with and blend. I do prefer wearing them over a primer for a little added vibrancy and because these shadows blend so well they can almost blend away into each other so I find a primer helps keep the look true.
The palette is housed in a very sleek, slim, chrome palette with a double ended applicator with a sponge tip on one end and brush on the other.
Now on to the swatches. You can see the lovely finish and glow these shadows give without being overtly shimmery or glittery.
I don’t think you can go wrong with the Clinique All About Shadow Neutral Territory 2 8 Shade Palette and it’s a great choice for someone just getting into wearing more makeup as they can do very soft and natural looks or amp it up to a neutral smokey eye.
