The Clarins Spring 2016 Instant Glow Collection is all about achieving a natural radiant glow at any age. With iridescent nude tones on the eyes, natural flushed cheeks, and lush glossy lips, you’ll be radiating fresh spring beauty.

The limited edition Natural Glow 5 Colour Eyeshadow Palette ($39 CAD) includes five beautiful natural shades in a range of finishes.
- Iridescent Beige – this shadow has a sheer quality and is quite powdery. It has subtle iridescent shimmer particles throughout.
- Matte Beige – this is a fantastic all over base shade in a matte finish.
- Iridescent Bronze – This is a lovely shimmery pale bronze that brightens the eye beautifully.
- Marron GlacĂ© – This rich shimmering brown creates a gorgeous smokey eye all over the lid and offers beautiful contour to your eye look.
- Satin Brown – This deep dark brown is perfect for smoking out your lash line and adding definition to the crease and outer v.

I am really liking this palette. It is very versatile and offers the perfect range of shades and finishes. My only complaint is with the powderyness of the first iridescent beige shade. It creates quite a bit of fallout.
The collection introduces four new shades of Clarins Ombre Iridescente ($25 CAD) eyeshadows. The shade I have is Silver Plum and it is absolutely gorgeous. It is stunning deep silver plum taupe. It’s a neutral with a kick, and looks amazing as a quick smokey eye. The formula is smooth and richly pigments and is enriched with bamboo powder to mattify and increase lasting power on the lids and vitamin E.

My favourite products in the collection are the new shades of Clarins Rouge Eclat Lipstick ($28 CAD). The Clarins Joli Rouge is one of my fave lipstick formulas and now the Rouge Eclat is definitely joining the ranks. I have a couple other shades but I’d forgotten how much I loved the formula. The formula combines plant waxes of mimosa, jojoba, and sunflower. They feel so silky and light on the lips but offer rich, vibrant colour with a subtle translucency and beautiful shine.
The spring collection brings four new shades. The two shades I have are Rose Praline and Pink Cherry. Rose Praline is such a soft pretty nude, while Pink Cherry is a gorgeous, juicy face brightening gentle cherry pink.

The Clarins Multi-Blush in Rose ($30 CAD) is a cream blush that sets to a soft matte powder finish without any tackiness to speak of. More than a blush, the formula is enriched with rose, jojoba, mimosa, and sunflower plant waxes as well as tocopherol to protect skin from free radicals. It has a really beautiful, and unique finish thanks to the photochromatic pigments and pearl that give it a soft focus effect. The finish is matte yet is somehow still manages to glow. So pretty and natural.

Swatches of the lip and cheek products:

Below is a look featuring the Natural Glow eyeshadow palette (matte beige from crease to brow, iridescent beige on brow bone and inner corner, iridescent bronze on the lid, marron glacé on the outer v and into the crease, satin brown on the lashline), Multi-Blush in Rose on the cheeks, and Rouge Eclat in Rose Praline on the lips. Below that is the same look with Pink Cherry on the lips. I had to take my ponytail out because my hair hurt! Anyone else deal with that ponytail hair follicle pain nightmare?
