OK. I admit it. Sometimes I’m a little lazy when it comes to doing my makeup. There are days when I enjoy the long process of crafting a special look for a special occasion and then there are days when I just want to slap something on quick in order to not blind the general public with my naked face. I love finding products that can multitask and cut my routine down and the Clarins Graphic Expression Face and Blush Powder ($35 US/$40 CAD) from their Autumn 2013 collection does just that.
This beautifully packaged powder is the perfect shade to function as both a bronzer of sorts to warm my complexion as well as a blush. You can concentrate just on the inner portion of the palette for a warmer shade and swirl your brush across the entire surface for a more rose toned bronze. Since my skin is a bit on the cooler side I stick to using the entire compact for the most beautiful blush bronzer shade that warms my complexion and has enough of a rosy glow to avoid making my skin look orange or muddy. The strip of gold glitter at the top left is overspray that is easily removed. The rosy pink stripes contain very fine golden shimmer while the beige bands are a satin matte finish.
The Graphic Expression Collection Face and Blush Powder contains Clarins exclusive plant micropatch to provide continuous hydrations, as well as white tea extract for anti-pollution protection.
The swatch below is of all the shades in the palette blended together. It’s such a pretty shade. I hope you can see the beautiful finish of this powder. It melts into the skin for a completely natural glow with no sparkle.
