I’ve always eyed the pretty colour blocked Clarins blush palettes at the counter and now I can finally attest to the delicate beauty of the Clarins Blush Prodige Illuminating Cheek Colour in 01 Lovely Rose.
It comes packaged in the shiny, sleek gold Clarins packaging. The included brush is soft and fairly useable.
There are two soft warm pink matte squares which includes the largest and most dominant area. There are also two pale cool pink squares with shimmer. I think the two shades in the two categories are very slightly different but I could be wrong. I swatched the entire blush palette swirled together on the left and the individual squares on the right. The overall result a delicate pink with a subtle glow that look so lovely and has become one of my favourite light pink blushes. I love that I can use just the large matte pink area on the apples of my cheeks and use the light shimmering pink alone as a highlighter on the tops of my cheekbones. Or I can use all the shades blended together. Versatility makes me a happy makeup addict.
Available at Clarins counters nationwide. The US Clarins website happens to be having their Friends and Family sale right now for up to 25% off your purchase until November 13th, 2013.
