I love the Charlotte Tilbury Matte Revolution Lipsticks. I think they are probably my favourite matte lipstick formula. The luminous modern matte finish is so incredibly flattering and the formula is so comfortable to wear. There is no dryness whatsoever. They have this incredible soft focus effect on the lips. Where normal matte lipsticks tend to exaggerate lip lines and dryness, this formula makes your lips look healthy and plump.
The packaging is of course the gorgeous rose gold ribbed lipstick tube all Charlotte Tilbury lipsticks come in. So chic!
The new shade The Queen ($32 US/$38 CAD) is described by Charlotte as a rich and rosy crown-jewel pink lipstick in homage to Her Majesty, Elizabeth II. It is so stunning and I can see it being quite flattering on the majority of skin tones.
I would normally shy away from a shade as bold as this, but it is done so well that it becomes as wearable as a neutral. It is both fashionable and sophisticated. Love!
