A dry sheet mask? I know! When I first heard of these I couldn’t wrap my head around it. It just sounded like some kind of crazy new fad. How could sheet mask that is dry, possibly accomplish anything. Well the Charlotte Tilbury Instant Magic Facial DRY Sheet Face Mask ($22 US/$27 CAD) totally blew me away. I must admit I can’t understand how the revolutionary biomimetic delivery system in the mask works, but it absolutely does. I have dry skin, so after cleansing it is very dry. I have to put skincare on right away or it’s tight, parched city going on over here. Well I went from a dry post cleansed face to a radiant, hydrated, plumped fask after wearing this mask for 15 minutes. You can see in the after photo below that my skin is legit glowing. It felt amazing. I did even bother putting any moisturizer on after.
The masks are pricey at $27 a pop but because they are dry, and therefore don’t harbour bacteria, you can reseal the mask in it’s ziplock pouch and use it a total of up to 3 times.
The mask fits incredibly well to the face. It even comes down under the chin and has ear holes to secure everything in place. You can see it covers my entire face. I love that the inside of the mask is pink!
Well as strange as this magical mask is I am hooked. No slipping and sliding, no mess, just fabulous results.
