The Horizon de Chanel Glowing Blush Harmony from Chanel’s Harmonie de Printemps collection is every bit as gorgeous as I’d anticipated. The strips of softly luminous colour paired with the chic raised Chanel logo make this a worthy blush to add to your collection regardless of how many pick blushes you may currently have in your stash. I would really suggest checking this blush out if you are just starting out in your Chanel adventure or in your high end makeup dabblings. Blush Horizon de Chanel is an excellent choice as it offers three shades in one compact. The individual shapes are too small to use individually but the top and bottom sections offer easy to use colours that are distinct from one another as well as the shade obtained by swirling your brush over the entire compact. Due to my recent job loss I am certainly strapped for funds so this was the only item I’ve picked up so far from the Spring Chanel collection. Depressing considering I think I picked up almost the entire Spring 2011 collection. Yes I’m pouting!
The top of the compact offers a truer pink where the bottom section offers a pink with a subtle peach tone.
Slightly warmer natural light.
The left most swatch is the top section, then the bottom section and the final swatch is the entire compact blended. These were applied with my finger tip. The blush is very soft and pigmented. It has a lovely luminosity that gives a nice glow to the skin. It is not shimmery or glittery but if applied very heavily the sheen could emphasize skin imperfection but I don’t see anyone applying this product heavily enough to experience that issue.
Here are the same three swatches as well as the addition of the far right area showing the blush blended on my inner wrist using the enclosed brush which is nice quality. Very soft and usable.
Here are some comparisons to some other pink blushes in my collection. I’m very happy to see it is not a dupe to anything I have.
