Bite Beauty has replaced their already hugely successful, and much loved, lipstick formula Luminous Creme with the new Bite Beauty Amuse Bouche Lipstick ($26 US/$30 CAD). The new lipstick range will be available in 34 cream finish shades. I never had the opportunity to try the Luminous Creme formula so I am unable to offer comparisons. From the response I have seen from others who have tried both formulas, it appears they really did make an already amazing product even better.
The packaging is a very unique soft matte grey rounded tube with a “bite” out of the rounded top.
The Amuse Bouche lipsticks are hand crafted in Canada in small batches. They are full of hydrating nutrients, vitamins, and omega oils to provide not only a beautiful texture and experience but to achieve healthier, more beautiful lips with every use. The lipsticks are formulated with 12 edible oils to give them a moisturizing and creamy texture while fresh pressed fruits provide the natural citrus flavor.
The shades I have tested are:
- Beetroot – Bold Berry
- Black Truffle – Black Violet
- Chai – Mauve Brown
- Gazpacho – True Blue-Red
- Honeycomb – Beige Nude
- Spritzer – Plum Rose
The lipsticks offer absolutely incredible color payoff. Fully opaque color coverage is achieved in a single swipe. The colors are rich, bold, and give the lips a satin finish to gentle sheen depending on the shade. I am so incredibly impressed with this lipstick formula. They feel wonderful on the lips. Creamy and comfortable while hugging the lips and not feeling too “slippy”. Visually they are nothing short of stunning. The colour you see in the tube is fully realized in rich, vibrant color on the lips. As much as my wallet is going to hate me there is no possible way I can resist adding more shades of this exquisite lipstick formula to my collection. I don’t wear bold lips often so I will definitely have to invest in some more softer shades.
Do you see any shades here you like? I am obsessed with Spritzer! Have you picked any up yet?
The new Bite Beauty Amuse Bouche Lipsticks are available now exclusively online at Sephora as a VIB and VIB Rouge exclusive. They should become fully available in Sephora stores and online in early March.
