This week the Makeup Wars team is sharing some great products to get that summer glow.
One of the easiest ways to get that summer glow is cosmetically. Bronzer, highlighters, and instant tanners can all give you a temporary kiss of sun. The new The Body Shop Honey Bronze line has several beautiful options. The Honey Bronze Highlighting Dome ($16 CAD) contains a lightweight, sheer tint of colour with refined shimmer. Shade 01 is a lovely champagne shimmer and Shade 02 is a shimmering bronze. I love it because it has a red tone too it that results in a very natural tanned effect on my fair skin. There is also a Shade 03 available which looks to be a golden peachy pink. The domes have a lovely honey scent.
The Honey Bronze Tinted Leg Mist ($20 CAD/100 ml) is a transparent gel mist that gives a natural matte tan. It contains no oil or shimmer and doesn’t transfer until you wash it away. It’s such a great shade yielding a very natural , and customizable result. The collection also includes a Honey Bronze Tinted Face Gel ($16 CAD) (not shown).
For a little more permanence you can opt for a self tanner that gradually builds a more lasting tan without having to expose yourself to the sun. The Bioderma Photoderm Self-Tanner.
