The Benefit Cheeky Sweet Spot Box ‘o Blushes ($36 US/$43 CAD) is one of my favourite gift palette releases of the Holiday 2014 Season. It is such a beautiful selection of high quality blush shades, along with a universally flattering matte bronzer and sheer champagne cream highlighter, all for an incredible price. It is perfect not only for makeup lovers and collectors but also for gals who may just be starting out exploring the world of beauty and need to expand their blush collection. The products are housed in a foam insert inside a really cute Christmas themed cottage tin.
The Benefit Cheeky Sweet Spot palette includes:
- dandelion 4.0g Net wt. 0.14 oz. (ballerina pink)
- sugarbomb 6.0g Net wt. 0.21 oz. (peach, soft plum, pink and rose )
- CORALista 5.0g Net wt. 0.17 oz. (coral pink)
- bella bamba 5.0g Net wt. 0.17 oz. (watermelon pink)
- hoola 5.0g Net wt. 0.17 oz. (bronzer)
- rockateur 5.0g Net wt. 0.17 oz. (rose gold)
- watt’s up! 1.5 g Net wt. 0.05 oz. (sheer champagne highlighter)

The only drawback of the palette is that if you are looking to invest in this palette in hopes of finally acquiring the cult favourite Benefit Cosmetic blush shade Coralista then you may be disappointed. For the most part the shades in this palette are a true match for their boxed powder namesakes but Coralista is the one glaring exception. The palette version is more an orange coral where the boxed version is a pink coral. My boxed version of Dandelion is a bit lighter on the skin than the Cheeky Sweet Spot version but still pretty much identical. Sugarbomb looks a bit different in the pan but once the shades are swirled together and swatched they look the same on the skin. Rockateur looks different in the pan as my boxed version is a harder texture and more iridescent but they swatch pretty much identically and I actually prefer the Cheeky Sweet Spot version as it’s a bit softer.
Regardless of the difference of Coralista I think this palette is a must have. Bella Bamba appears to be no longer available in box o’ powder form so that’s another reason to scoop this up. The foam insert that the pans are glued in is very easily removed if you want to depot the palette into something else like a z-palette.
