Glitzy Black is a limited edition release for the holidays. It is an intensely inky black with a glossy finish and subtle sparkle. I was so impressed with this when I tested it out. It makes such an impactful, glossy black liner but also smudges out smoothly to be used as a base or shadow. When smudging out a cream product I always like to set with a powder product on top for longevity and blending purposes but I can guarantee you with this product it is not going anywhere without a good makeup remover. I have had it on the back of my hand since yesterday through multiple hand washings, a shower, and scrubbing and it is still there.
The cap hides a brush which is of decent quality but a bit on the stiff side so I prefer to use my own brushes.
Now the look below is not the best by any means. I had no intention of posting it and have no other makeup on. I was simply testing out the product by applying heavily as a liner all around my eyes and waterline as well as smudging it on the lid. Even though I slapped it on in a hurry with the included brush I was impressed enough with it’s performance to throw a bit of Fyrinnae Mischievous Sidhe on top just to see how it would look. Even though my lines are messy I thought it would be worth sharing with you so you could see just how glossy and intense a look it creates and how nicely it blends out.
The Annabelle SmudgePaints retail for $10.95.
