The new Guerlain Météorites Voyage Exceptional Compacted Pearls of Powder in 01 Mythic ($179 US/$210 CAD) for Spring 2016 is a mix of miniature pearls, infused with soft focus Stardust Technology (a diamond powder encapsulated in microspheres), that are tightly pressed together into a travel friendly compact. There are fives shades of meteorites in a mix of correcting and illuminating shades that can adapt to any skintone. I adore the Météorites Voyage powder for use all over the face to give my dry skin a subtle radiance thanks to the micro pearls produced by the hands of Guerlain’s craftsman from precious pearlescent particles.

The new Météorites Voyage compact is incredibly solid. This thing is hefty! I find it far too heavy to carry around in my handbag, and prefer to keep this beauty on my vanity. The brilliant silver compact has a white textured top reminiscent of luminescent pearls.

The largest part of your investment for this product is for the compact. The compact is refillable and you can purchase a refill for $59 US/$74 CAD. If you are wanting to try the new pressed Météorites powder, and already have a Voyage compact you love, then you can just purchase the refill.

I absolutely love the pressed Météorites Voyage pressed powders. I find them to be a little more subtle than the Météorites Pearls for all over complexion use. If you have dry or dull skin, and haven’t yet tried these powders, I highly recommend them. They are finely milled, silky powders that give the skin a lovely natural radiance. They are NOT highlighters. If you are looking to attain a highlighter level of glow from these powders then you will be disappointed. I found the new Exceptional Compacted Pearls to offer more of a soft focus airbrushed effect, and a bit less of a glow, than the Guerlain Météorites Light Revealing Powder Compact in Light.
