Yves Saint Laurent’s Summer 2013 Collection brings us two new permanent shades of their La Laque Couture Nail Lacquer ($27 CAD/$25 US). 36 Vert D’Orient is a stunning deep teal green. What I love is that the depth of this shade makes it very versatile and suitable year round. 37 Taupe Mauresque is a dark taupe brown. Both shades are gorgeous creams with extremely glossy finishes. These swatches were taken without top coats. These two new additions to the line has the same exceptional formula and application that I have come to expect from the YSL La Laque Couture line. I must say that I think this has become my favourite brand of nail polish. The formula is a dream to work with, always applies flawlessly, and dries quickly. The wide tapered brush shape is among the best designs I have ever used for ease of application. If I actually had some nails to try it out on I think these two shades would look fabulous together in french manicure style.
